We have arranged for group room rates of $49.00 plus tax per night under the group called “101st Airborne Group” and you can make reservations at (417)-337-7070. Make sure you mention the name and get the group rate. Make reservations at least 2 weeks prior to the event. You don’t have to pay until you check in. Following is a brief agenda of the event, this is subject to change, give us some input if you want.

Sunday September 11, 2011: Gather at the Tri-Lakes Streamliner Conference Room in the hotel for reception and get together to renew/continue old friendships and meet wives, family and friends. Lunch/Dinner on your own. Maybe a show later.

Monday September 12, 2011: Breakfast on own, the hotel has a free hot breakfast buffet and we can eat in the Conference room. 8:30-9:00AM gather in the Conference Room. Welcome by Bill Higgins. Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance.

9:00-12:00 Noon: Open discussion with group involvement of the events of Spring 1969-70 in some chronological order with maps and pictures support from the “Story” Bill Higgins has put together.

12:00-1:00 PM Lunch on own or may have Subway brought in.

1:00 PM-4:30 PM: Continue open informal general discussion, finish “Story”and pictures, visit. Everyone should bring some pictures of family and life after Vietnam to share. If you have New Vietnam pictures not sent before please send to Bill Higgins in advance to put on a CD so all can look at them, he will return them to you. Let Bill know in advance of pictures you would like to have in frame size.

This year we will have a ladies (or anyone else wanting to attend) program that Renee Lee will lead and it is to attend the play/musical “Always Patsy Cline” about the late great country singer. It starts at 2:00 PM Monday and Renee will have a sign up sheet on Sunday to get the tickets. We have seen this show and it is GREAT.

Tuesday September 13, 2011: Breakfast on own. 9:00 AM: Travel by caravan to visit the grave of our buddy Gary Stacey, it is not far. Noon: Lunch on own. Afternoon: There are some 2:00 PM shows of music of the 1960’s if we want like Righteous Brothers (only one left) or Paul Revere and the Raiders. Some may want to visit or take a tour of the shopping and sites in Branson.

Wednesday September 14, 2011: AM finish meeting, any unfinished business, discuss future reunions and Stand Down. Departure. We are inviting those that we served with, their wives, family and friends. This will be a great chance to see friends from the 2009 Reunion or those we have not seen for 40+ years. It will be a lot of fun!
